Easter Egg Hunt

Easter is nearly here at Trago and it’s not just about getting quality chocolate eggs at low prices. We also have the annual Easter egg hunt at our Newton Abbot and Liskeard stores. we’ll be posting pictures of happy eggs in locations around the outside of the stores, can you find them all?

Take part on Friday 30th March, Saturday 31st March or Monday 2nd of April, Hartridges Pantry will be the starting point in Liskeard. Entry costs 50p each and is open to children under the age of 11, with a free egg included for those who take part! Available from 10am until 4pm each day, with all profits going to charity.

Merthyr Final Touches

The fourth Trago Mills store in Merthyr Tydfil is on the very verge of opening, with only the final touches being added and the new stock being ordered. We have also announced the opening date for people to get excited about: Saturday April 21st.

With just over a month left to go, we’ll be allowing people to order items before the doors are even open, making it simple and easy to pick up a bargain before the rush! Be sure to check out our website in the week before opening to see what you want to reserve!

Renovations at the Keg & Kettle

The Keg and Kettle has been a favourite of visitors to our Liskeard store for decades, offering quality food at an incredibly low price. During much of February though, the doors had been shut as the K&K underwent some brand, spanking new renovations.  The Aviary tea room has had a new range of furniture as well, so both eating spots at Liskeard have had a touch up!

The beast from the east gave our work a bit of a delay, as the pond froze over and snow started to fall, but we were re-opened in the first week of March!

Snow at Trago Stores

As mentioned before, the Beast from the East has had great fun with our stores! We’ve had to close our Newton Abbot store twice thanks to its mischief, but we’ve also been able to plough through some of the lighter snowfall. Many of our outdoor areas such as the garden centre at Newton and the river walk at Liskeard have become winter wonderlands in the middle of March! Certainly, an event that we won’t be forgetting soon.

Our customers have also snapped some great shots of the beautiful snowscapes that we’ve been seeing at our different stores. Quite a strange way to welcome Spring!
