Cook for Keg & Kettle

 

We are currently seeking a hard-working and enthusiastic cook for our Keg & Kettle food outlet at our Liskeard store. The Keg & Kettle is a very busy cafe, serving home cooked food at value for money prices. It has an open kitchen and is in close proximity to our customers.The successful candidate will need to be able to work under pressure, whilst producing meals to a high standard, controlling wastage and being a team player. You will also be flexible so that you can cover staff holidays and sickness. The role comprises 7 hours per day (35 hours per week) in straight shifts (no split shifts), 5 days out of 7, but 5 hours per day (split equally over 5 days) would be considered. There is a generous staff discount and a Good Attendance Bonus included in the remuneration. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced warehouse manger to join the team at our Newton Abbot store. This is a demanding role, which requires an ability to work under pressure, manage a large team and effectively prioritise the workload. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in warehouse management, excellent communication skills, excellent numeracy and IT skills and a working knowledge of logistics and warehousing regulations. The role is full time, working 5 days out of 7, which may include some weekends, as required. Security Assistant

 

We currently have a vacancy for a Security Assistant at our Newton Abbot store. This is a full time position, comprising 39.75 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends). The successful candidate must have previous security experience, excellent customer care skills and hold a current driving licence. The role involves ensuring the security of the site and its property. Duties will include general patrol of the site, including all public and non public areas, checking customer receipts against purchases, distribution of money to tills, identifying and assisting in the apprehension of shoplifters and those carrying out internal theft, monitoring staff and contractors. Good written and communication skills are required and you must be flexible, adaptable and willing to carry out duties away from usual areas of work. DBS checks will be carried out.
