Firm favourites at even more favourable prices, plus brand-new bargains!

We’re taking a chunk out of the prices of Associated Weavers’ perennially popular Stainaway Harvest Heather Collection, top twists that are available from stock at all stores in two qualities, Deluxe and Supreme, the heavier in seam-saving 5 Metre (16’5”) width as well as standard 4 metre (13’1’)! With 6 and 10 year Heavy Wear guaranties respectively plus 10 year Stainaway warranties on both against normal household spills, in regular form they are secondary backed which requires an underlay and professional installation, say about £5.00 - £8.00 yd² dependent on complexity and the quality of the underlay. As a great seller, AW manufacturer it exclusively for Trago on a ready-to-lay built-in Recytex Plus felt underlay, which immediately slashes the price of the carpet ‘on the floor’ – of course, if additional cushioning is required, all options remain available. Oh yes, and by going the ready-felted route, both qualities are compatible with underfloor heating.

A great proposition, but with a final clincher - new lower prices for the remainder of the year at the very least!

Harvest Heathers Deluxe cut from the racks was £6.99 yd², reduced now to £5.99 yd² (£7.16m²), and its 50 ox Big Brother Harvest Heather Supreme is down from £9.49 yd² to a scorching £7.99 yd² (£9.56m²)!

Step forward enterprising 'Lay it Yourself'ers'!!

Not a moment too soon, we’re experiencing increased demand for durable loop pile broadloom that offers assured performance for very modest outlay. Our King of Carpets was beginning to fear it had been relegated to the 3rd Division by trendy hard flooring but which thankfully is not the case, as it is never inexpensive when taking the full cost of installation into account. Phew, that’s a relief...

For tight budgets, we have plenty of really nice, serviceable carpets in either loop or cut-pile, no shortage of colours, from either side of an amazing £3.50 yd²!!  Unexpected guests, emergency repair/replacement? No matter, a 13’1” x 9’ cut of your choice will cost around £46…

Santa will be impressed!!

'Is it a bird? It’s a plane’! We don’t care which, as while this fantastic new collection from Associated Weavers could slip comfortably into any one of three genres, saxony, velvet or twist, it is refreshingly sophisticated and a first for inclusion within the manufacturer’s saxony-rich Invictus Collection of soft-touch, deep pile carpets. So what’s so different?

In virtually a word, stitch rate, as both Aries and Taurus have super-dense constructions that, combined with refined iVinci olefin fibre pile, gives both qualities a uncommonly impressive velvet-like finish. To describe the lighter but still meaty 50 oz Aries as a velva-twist would not go amiss, thus for a chic townhouse or similar, this beautifully groomed carpet might be just the ticket. With a 12 Year Heavy Wear guarantee and a 20 year warranty against normal household spills, this 4 metre wide broadloom is remarkable value @ just £8.99 yd² (£10.75 m²).

If not for its fine finish, heftier 62 oz Taurus would undoubtedly be pigeon-holed as a saxony – and if that’s how it is perceived, fine! But for ourselves, that will be doing it an injustice, such is its flawless, tailored surface – fine twist, super velvet, groomed saxony, who knows? Be in no doubt it is simply a lovely carpet, underwritten with the assurance of AW’s 20 Year wear and anti-stain warranty, a supple Fusion backing to aid installation and a palette of on-trend natural and earthy colours. If your preference is for velvety finishes, you will not like or want unnecessary joins, ergo our stock is in seam-saving 5 metre (16’5”) width. Thankfully, we have kept the price as small as possible, just £10.99 yd² (£13.14 m²) for this ‘carpet man’s carpet’!

Finally for this week and following the success of all our Invictus soft-touch saxonies, Cassius, the sister range to Sirius is now available from stock at exactly the same price, £12.99 yd² (£15.54 m²)! Where Sirius has plain, solid colours, Cassius goes the lightly heathered route – which in some situations may be more practical, albeit both may be safely cleaned with diluted bleach. These are ‘full fat’ 70 oz beauties, have really deep, easy to seam piles where joins are unavoidable, and of course bear AW’s 20 Year Wear and Stain warranty. Our price makes bourgeois luxury accessible to all - yes, that really was £12.99 yd²!

Amongst a refreshed and growing collection - Peninsula Home – of either level or structured two-height loops, are Borneo and Madagascar, that offer the choice of either a simple and inoffensive ‘slub-effect’ or a distinctly vogue herringbone design. They’re tufted in ‘Stain-Repel’ polypropylene fibre which also has the benefit of being anti-static and cleanable with diluted bleach should the worst come to pass (it usually does!). They have 5 Year Heavy Domestic wear warranties, are backed with ready-to-lay built-in underlay, with Borneo available in 4m and Madagascar in both 4m and horizon-wide 5 metre too.

Never one to grow up, I’ve saved the best ‘til last…..£4.99 yd² (£5.97 m²) – that’s a 13’1” x 12’ room done and dusted for under £88!!
