More Than Just Shopping - A Day Out for the Whole Family!
Trago’s original store is situated alongside the River Fowey in the beautiful Glyn Valley, on the A38 between Liskeard and Bodmin. Inside are two floors equating to over 18,500 square meters filled with the South West’s largest selection of home, garden and leisure products – over 100,000 in all. Visit our store to see the full range, including carpets, clothing, DIY, furniture, fitted kitchens, toys, household essentials, furniture and much more. There are 38 departments packed with leading brands at highly discounted prices, special clearance offers and one-off bargains. Our Golden Aisle, changes every Friday and really is a “must see” when you visit Trago! It contains 12 different products every week that have been massively discounted, often by up to 80% off RRP! But only for 7 days!
There are approximately 1,200 parking spaces, including spaces for disabled drivers. You can also get to our Liskeard store on the No. 11 bus, which stops at our own bus stop in the East Car Park. You can contact the Liskeard switchboard during open hours, seven days a week on 01579 348877.

In addition to over 180,000 bargains, the Liskeard store is surrounded by areas to sit and relax or you can grab a bite to eat between the retail therapy! Enjoy light meals, snacks and Cornish cream teas in our fully licensed Aviary Tea Room, or treat yourself to something more substantial, including bargain breakfasts, Traditional Trago roast (available on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sunday), pasta dishes and more in the Keg & Kettle. We also have our own take away, Fit t’ Bust, serving fish and chips, nuggets, burgers, sausages and more!

Our store is surrounded by lovely woodlands, where you can discover Hartridge’s Wood. There is a special children’s outdoor play area, as well as seating and barbeque areas. See how many wild birds you can spot!
Don’t forget to also visit the Nature Reserve and the Oriental Garden.
You’ll also discover dozens of statues in the grounds of Trago in Liskeard. Many of these poke tongue-in-cheek fun at political figures and officials over the decades. In 2024 we were proud to become the home of a life-size statue of Cornish comedian Jethro. The memorial statue shows him smiling in his familiar performing stance. It is fitting for Jethro to be back at home as he worked at Trago in Liskeard many years ago.
And, of course, no trip to Trago Liskeard would be complete without seeing (and hearing) our peacocks! As one reviewer of Trago on Trip Advisor puts it “only in Cornwall could you find somewhere as mental, but intriguing and fun as this...”
